SAGE held an international virtual symposium on “Geotourism, Geoparks, and Geotrails: Education and Enjoyment of Geoscience around the World” on 17 November 2022 as part of its Applied Geoscience & Engineering Symposium (SAGE AGES) series. Multiple speakers from several different countries presented on general geotourism topics, specific localities, educational aspects, etc., with attendees joining us from several countries as well.
Due to the low cost of running the event (~$30) and our goal of bringing geotourism to a wider audience, including the general public, we opted to run the live event for free to not only SAGE members and the speakers, but also at no charge for non-members. In addition, we are providing open access to our on-demand content from this event (publications, slides, and videos) with hyperlinks included herein.
