ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
• At least some professional or affiliated practice in an applied geoscience, engineering, or related field (e.g., land, legal, etc.). Note that a college or university degree is NOT required for associate membership. Internships qualify for professional work experience for Associate Membership status, but do not solely disqualify a potential member from Student status.
• Sponsorship by 2 Founding or Professional Members. During the initial phase of membership applications, a committee of Founding Members will review and serve as sponsors for successful applicants.
• To maintain SAGE Membership status, all members must complete a 1–hr Ethics course year. We anticipate posting an Ethics video a later date for your convenience.
• DUES: Annual, $25; Life, $300. Associate Life Members subsequently qualifying for Professional Membership will maintain their Life status as a Professional Life Member.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION AND MEMBERSHIP
In submitting the electronic form below for Associate Membership within the Society of Applied Geoscientists and Engineers, Inc., you hereby affirm that all information provided is true and correct, and that any untrue or incorrect statements made in this application shall be sufficient grounds for denial of membership application, or if membership is approved for subsequent censure, suspension, or expulsion from the Society, as may be determined by the Board of Directors. Upon request by the Society, you agree to provide supporting documentation for any statements made during the application process.
You also agree to abide by the terms of the Constitution of the Society, and that failure to do so shall be sufficient grounds for your censure, suspension, or expulsion from the Society, as may be determined and directed by the Board of Directors. You also affirm that said Constitution as now existing or as may be amended hereafter shall be the sole measure of your rights and privileges in the Society. You hereby agree that admission to the Society shall be granted or refused at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors, and further agree that in the event Associate Membership is not granted to you, or if granted and you are later censured, suspended, or expelled by the Board of Directors, you will make no claim against the Society, its Board of Directors, or any individual member.
Payment includes a non-refundable fee of $5 for processing your application. In the event that your application is unsuccessful, the remainder of payment will be returned.
The renewal date for new members is currently December 31, 2023.

STEP 2: Payment of Application Fee and Dues
pplication review will only commence with payment of membership dues. Dues will be returned if the application is unsuccessful, less a $5 application processing fee.

Payment Method 2: By Mail: Please make check payable to Society of Applied Geoscientists and Engineers, Inc., or simply SAGE, and mail to SAGE, 7190–A Cemetery Hwy., St. Martinville, Louisiana 70582. We also kindly request that you send us an email to admin@sagetech.org with a note indicating payment by check.
